Job Summary

Duties
- Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications accurately and efficiently.
- Provide patient care by answering questions, addressing concerns, and offering medication counseling under the supervision of a pharmacist.
- Maintain accurate records of medication administration and patient profiles to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Utilize aseptic technique for compounding sterile preparations, including IV infusions.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes through effective medication management.
- Monitor inventory levels, manage stock supplies, and assist in ordering medications as needed.
- Stay updated on pharmacy practices, medical terminology, and new medications to enhance professional knowledge.
Qualifications
- Certification as a Pharmacy Technician is required.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology related to pharmacy practice.
- Experience in acute care or critical care settings is preferred.
- Proficiency in aseptic technique and IV infusion preparation is highly desirable.
