Position: Day Porter (Full-Time/Part-Time)
Reports To: Facilities Manager
FLSA Status: Hourly
Department: Building Maintenance
Job Summary: The Day Porter position assists everyone associated within the Building Maintenance division as well as other departments to help with daytime operations of the facility. All duties of the position shall be performed with a commitment to the highest level of member and guest service with a focus on total customer satisfaction. This position is designed to provide the necessary exposure, experience, and preparation for this individual to pursue future growth and development within the customer service industry.

Food and Beverage
Qualifications: The Day Porter position must meet the below requirements:
Valid State issued Driver’s License
Must have a clean driving record and able to join company insurance policy
Meet all Federal and State Employment Eligibility guidelines
Must be able to stand on their feet for extended periods of time
Must be able to lift and/or carry items that are at most 50 pounds
Job Tasks / Duties: The Day Porter job duties include but are not limited to:
Daily Duties
Assist with and complete all opening and closing procedures as outlined by management staff
Assist fellow teammates to ensure the highest quality of member and guest service
Moving luggage from guest quarters into locker room or vice versa
Greet all Members and Guests by name and in a professional manner
Pickup and Drop-off Members and Guests at the local airports
Load golf bags into staging area for daily play or tournaments
Daily inventory of drinks and snacks in all of the cottages.
Bank/Check runs and Post Office runs for Admin. Office
Greet Members and Guests at the bag drop as well as provide a friendly farewell to departing golfers
Using a backpack blower to clean up around the Clubhouse, Cottages, and Parking Lot.
Assist Members and Guests with Cottage room check-ins
At bag drop, retrieve bags from arriving cars and stage golf clubs properly
Manage the main gate with allowing Members and Guests through
Hand off the Gate Phone to the night porter upon completion of a closing shift
Maintain a clean and organized work space
Clean out carts daily and wash them at the end of each shift
Clean Cottage porches daily
Relay important information to management staff including Member/Guest issues, work equipment not functioning properly, or staff misconduct
Proactively manage daily work flow to maximize productivity
Study the tournament/event calendar to be able to communicate details with Members/Guests
Checking the locker room throughout the day and restocking amenities and towels
Help clean cottages on a daily basis in-season (vacuuming, windows, dusting, etc.)
Take ownership of your work
Conduct oneself in a professional manner and maintain a professional image at all times
Daily Cleaning around the entire Property Campus (if you see trash-Pick it up)
Keeping the Learning Center clean and organized
Touch-up Painting around OM Campus
Pressure Washing areas around the OM Campus

Schedule: The Day Porter position will work approximately 40hrs (Full-time) 24hrs (Part-Time) or less per week during the entire year. However, based on required service levels, the above-mentioned hours could be more or less. Standard shift hours but not limited to are 6:00am to 2:00pm, 7:00am to 3:00pm or 10:00am to 6:00pm. During Special Outings the employee could be asked to stay for an extended shift.
