The Palmer School District is looking for a long-term substitute elementary school adjustment counselor at Old Mill Pond Elementary School that puts the needs of our children first. We are committed to providing students with a positive learning environment focused on meeting the needs of all learners. This opportunity will provide students a chance to receive social and emotional support and learn how to recognize steps to ensuring they have a “toolbox” full of Zones of Regulation strategies to keep students safe. The ideal candidate will have experience and background with implementing a MTSS and PBIS tier 1 and 2 intervention program. We believe the ideal candidate will be an active learner and teacher in our school and strive to build a dynamic learning experience for all our students.
