We are looking for an experienced Retail Manager to help drive the business as well as support the daily operations of our store. You will oversee our early morning processes such as shipment, markdowns, signing, marketing, and product moves. You will be the one to ensure smooth running of operations to maximize sales and minimize costs.
A product lead is someone who is productive, organized, efficient, can show great attention to detail, and can lead a team to do the same. The ideal candidate will have experience as a store leader and knowledge of diverse business subjects such as sales, marketing, productivity, leading, etc. An effective retail manager will be able to motivate personnel to perform according to their maximum capacity. The goal is to manage our store in ways that boost revenues and develop the business.
Responsibilities
- Organize all store operations and allocate responsibilities to personnel
- Supervise and guide staff towards maximum performance
- Prepare and control the store’s budget aiming for minimum expenditure and efficiency
- Monitor stock levels and purchases and ensure they stay within budget
- Deal with complaints from customers to maintain the store’s reputation
- Inspect the areas in the store and resolve any issues that might arise
- Plan and oversee in-store promotional events or displays
- Serve as a role model to achieve priorities in store with the customer as the primary focus
- Enhance customer experience by using all omni channel offerings
- Take action based upon direction from the Sales & Service Leader and collaborate effectively with employees
- Support Sales& Service Leader duties during non-peak hours.
- Lead and manage execution of assigned specialized functional area- merchandising or product operations.
- Consistently treat all customers and employees with respect and contribute to a positive work environment
- Ensure the store fulfils all legal health and safety guidelines
Skills
- Proven experience as retail manager or in other managerial position
- Take pride in the brand, product, store and team to deliver a compelling shopping experience for our customer
- Knowledge of retail management best practices
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
- Excellent organizing and leadership skills
- Commercial awareness
- Analytical mind and familiarity with data analysis principles
- Excellent knowledge of retail management software (e.g. MS RMS)
Needed Availability
- OPEN Availability is a must
- Typically (2-3 days a week) the role is early mornings 6a-3pm for operation days and remainder of schedule will revolve around business needs such as mid-day and closing coverage schedule.
- Holiday hours may vary such as working at 4am/5am during peak time. Or working until 11pm or 12am (midnight) if closing.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $21.50 - $22.50 per hour
