As a Relationship Development Associate, you will perform a wide variety of tasks in support of the Relationship Development team and clients, including:
- Interacting daily on the phone and in person with prospects, referral sources, and internal team members
- Assisting in creating, editing, and managing consistent content for websites, social media platforms, and newsletters
- Assisting in scheduling and coordinating business development meetings, events, and networking opportunities and/or travel arrangements
- Providing administrative support to the Relationship Development team as needed
- Maintaining organized records of prospect interactions and business development activities
- Being the point of contact for communications and meeting management of the Relationship Development Team
- Helping track marketing performance metrics and preparing reports on campaign effectiveness (e.g., Google Analytics)
- Project management as needed
- Coordinating and communicating conference logistics, including ordering and tracking swag
- Assisting in creating, editing, and managing content for websites, social media platforms, and newsletters
- Assisting in preparing reports on business development activities, progress, and key performance indicators
- Supporting ongoing prospect and client communication and engagement efforts, including recurring newsletter distributions
- Conducting industry and market research to support growth strategies as needed
- Maintaining and updating systems/spreadsheets to track leads, opportunities, and follow-ups
- Supporting the preparation of proposals, presentations, and relationship development communications
The ideal candidate will have:
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively
- Proactive, team-oriented attitude with a commitment to professionalism and confidentiality
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proficiency in LinkedIn and other social media outlets
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Associate or bachelor’s degree or relevant experience in business, marketing, communications, or a related field
- Experience with marketing tools such as Canva is appreciated
