What are the responsibilities and job description for the C-Well Operator (Certified Water Operator) position at Old North State Water Co, Inc?
Old North State Water Company is looking for a motivated licensed C-Well or Higher Water operator in the Greensboro area. Job description will include operating and maintaining multiple wells and filtration systems in the Greensboro area. Duties will also include but not be limited to EMORs, pulling compliance samples, process control samples, troubleshooting problems at well houses, maintaining the well site, on call schedule, work orders and meter reads, flushing and day to day operations, minor repairs at well houses. Operator will report directly to field supervisor. ONSWC will provide a vehicle, work phone and laptop. ONSWC has a great team and are looking to build and add another team member to help our company expand. There is room for growth and we're excited to add to the team. Job will be 8am to 4pm with a flexibility schedule. Experience in water is a must.
Key Responsibilities:
System Operation & Maintenance: Manage well facilities, pumping stations, and storage systems, including routine inspections and necessary repairs.
Water Quality Monitoring: Collect and analyze water samples to ensure compliance with health standards; adjust treatment processes as needed.
Regulatory Compliance: Prepare and submit required reports to the Public Water System (PWS), EPA, and other regulatory bodies.
Customer Service: Address customer inquiries and service orders related to water quality and distribution.
Safety & Documentation: Maintain accurate records, log books, and safety protocols; ensure a safe working environment.

Qualifications:
Certification: C-Well certification .
Drivers License
Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
