This is a Full Time, Seasonal position with the possibility of out-of-season work for the right candidate. Hourly salary of $20.00/ hr. This position has the possibility of expanding into a more full-time position with benefits.
About Old Pro Golf
For 60 years Old Pro Golf has been providing quality attractions to the OC area. We are a locally owned company that offers miniture golf and arcade amusements.
Responsibilities:
Golf Course Attendants at Old Pro are primarily responsible for creating an enjoyable atmosphere and experience for our guests. This includes friendly greetings, efficient cashier work, assisting guests with miniature golf equipment, letting them know the rules and procedures, keeping the golf courses clean and well-maintained and supervising guests during play.
Managers perform all these tasks while also being responsible for the depositing the banks and handling the money at the end of a shift, overseeing staff and being responsible for following closing procedures and safely locking the buildings. Some specific responsibilities include:
- Following cash register and opening/closing procedures
- Courteous and prompt attention/service to our guests
- Answer guest questions about OPG and Ocean City
- Routine Cleaning and maintenance including sweeping, picking up trash and cleaning bathrooms.
- Handling guest problems and complaints kindly and effectively
- Notifying maintenance team of any issues on the courses in a clear manner
- Assisting any injured guests and filling our reports on injuries thoroughly
- Delegating the above to staff as appropriate.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 2 years of management experience of various types. Customer Service a plus!
- The ability to use a smart phone and communicate regularly on company provided internal chat client.
- Excellent Customer Service skills.
- The ability to identify, troubleshoot and be solutions oriented in relations to problems/tasks at hand.
