What You’ll Do
- Examine commercial title records and issue title commitments and Owner & Encumbrance reports
- Conduct legal research on property tax records, bankruptcies, liens, and judgments
- Collaborate with underwriting to resolve title objections and obtain necessary approvals
- Work closely with clients, addressing inquiries and guiding them through title-related issues
- Review closing documents to ensure compliance with title requirements
- A graduate of an accredited law school (bar passage not required)
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- An excellent communicator, both in writing and over the phone
- Polite, professional, and client-facing, with strong interpersonal skills
- Someone who thrives in a structured, in-office environment and is willing to roll up their sleeves to get the job done
