Job Description : SUMMARY :
The person selected for this position will play a pivotal role in a large-enterprise Human Resources Department. Location : This position is fully onsite reporting to our Minnetonka, MN office.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :
- Accurately prepares analysis and reporting on a variety of data. Design, create, edit research and analyze various reports, charts and graphs.
- Talent Acquisition : Support recruitment efforts by coordinating interviews, assisting in candidate communications, running reports and analysis in support of the TA team.
- Partners with payroll to complete employment verifications.
- Schedules a variety of department meetings and prepares and distributes agendas and meeting materials.
- Maintain the CHRO's calendar, including scheduling meetings, appointments, speaking engagements, and travel arrangements. Exercise discretion in committing time and evaluating needs. Timely prepare, reconcile, and submit CHRO expense reports.
- Assists with loading and maintaining contracts and / or service agreements in the contract management platform.
- Complete various special projects including creating PowerPoint presentations, spreadsheets, audit reports, and agenda materials.
- Upload HR related documents into Workday.
- Assists with document production in response to subpoenas and discovery requests.
- Assists with proofreading and formatting company policies.
- Monthly prepares, balances, and submits department invoicing.
- Assists with Company's background check license requirements.
- Responsible for copying, scanning maintaining documents from employee personnel files, as requested.
- Responsible for assisting with onboarding logistics for the HR department. This includes ordering office equipment, office / workstation set-up, requesting appropriate access requests, ordering office access cards / keys, preparing the first-day agenda with the hiring manager, etc.
- Open mail and determine where unaddressed mail should be distributed to the appropriate person(s) or department(s) in the Minnetonka office.
- Weekly orders office supplies for the Human Resources and Benefits Department.
- Complete audit of ESSOP / 401(k) reports on a weekly basis.
- Upload all benefit related documentation into WorkDay, such as marriage certificates, birth certificates, life insurance beneficiary forms, proof of loss or gain of benefit coverage, medical support orders, divorce decrees, etc.
- Process weekly Flexible Spending Account reports.
- Review the opportunity to enroll report weekly, and notifies benefit-eligible employees, who have not enrolled in benefits, within the first 30 days of employment or when newly eligible for benefits.
- Initiate the request for Initial COBRA Notices via the Voya website, which will be distributed by Voya.
- Audit New Hire and COBRA reports.
- Prepare and send Federal Express packages, as requested by department staff.
- Assist with miscellaneous mailing projects for staff in the department, which may include, but not limited to mailing benefit Summary Plan Descriptions (SPDs) to COBRA participants, retirees, legal production and corresponds and employees on leave letters.
- Mail baby gifts to employees.
- Assist field personnel and employees on requests for information.

The estimated pay range stated represents the typical pay range for this position or similarly employed employees or employees performing substantially similar work. Factors which may be used to determine the actual pay rate may include, but are not limited to, education, training or experience; seniority; merit and work performance; quantity or quality of production; regional differences in compensation; differences in local minimum wages, or ability and effort.
Pay range for this position is : $45,000.00 - 60,000.00
Old Republic complies with all federal, state and local laws including minimum wage requirements. In the event a minimum hourly rate stated is lower than the minimum wage required by law, Old Republic will always pay an amount equal to or greater than the minimum wage required by law.
