Old Rochester Regional School District is currently seeking paraprofessional long term substitute at Center Elementary School for grades K - 3. This position is covering a medical leave from 1/21/2025 through 4/18/2025 with possible extension until the end of the 2024/2025 school year. Commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion work is essential for the ideal candidate.Paraprofessionals will work under the direction of a special educator, related service providers, and in collaboration with other paraprofessionals and school-based personnel to meet the goals and objectives of students' IEPs. Services may include a focus on academic support, behavioral support, sensory support, communication facilitation, transitions among school settings, addressing health, hygiene and safety needs, and guiding the development of social and emotional skills with individuals or groups of students.
