Position Overview

The Treasury Management Officer is responsible for maintaining a portfolio of Treasury clients, prospecting and networking to bring new clients into the bank and supporting the Commercial Lender, Sponsor Finance, and Healthcare teams by serving as the Treasury subject matter expert.

Essential Job Functions

• Manage portfolio of Treasury clients by providing exceptional customer service, proactively meeting needs, and probing clients for relationship expansion opportunities.
• Prospect for new business by targeting businesses and making calls.
• Serve as consultative Treasury expert to the Commercial Lending group for prospects and existing clients.
• Develop community relationships through working with local chambers, community groups, etc.
• Meet established production goals set forth each new business year.
• Work with municipalities and school districts to develop relationships.
  
  
  

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in related field (or equivalent) and two or more years of related experience in commercial banking/treasury management; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  
  
  

Competencies

• A high degree of organizational skills with a particular emphasis on accuracy in details and the ability to maintain that accuracy through multiple tasks and priorities.
• Strong oral and written communication skills and the ability to work with a group to achieve mutually agreeable solutions and to project self as a competent professional.
• Familiarity with treasury and commercial banking products and services.

Location Details

This position is considered a hybrid role. With management approval, an incumbent may work a combination of remote and onsite work to perform the regular responsibilities of the role. Actual schedule requirements may vary based upon business needs.

Compensation & Benefits

Base pay: $68,000 - $90,000

Old Second is committed to fair and equitable pay practices. Pay is dependent upon the pay range and the incumbent’s knowledge, skills and experience.

Officer Bonus Eligible: Eligible to participate in the Annual Officer Incentive plan with a target bonus up to 40% of base salary based various performance components.
