Position: Part-Time Interior Design Showroom Sales Specialist
We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Interior Design Showroom Sales Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for interior design, excellent communication skills, and a strong sales background. This role requires weekend availability, specifically Saturday and Sundays.
Part Time: Saturday 10am-5pm, Sundays 11am-4pm with occasional events/hours.
Location: 113 N High St., West Chester, PA 19380
Pay: $15 with potential commission, and trade access after 90 days
Responsibilities:
- Show up on time consistently, demonstrating reliability and commitment to the role.
- Quickly adapt to new information, processes, and technologies.
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of vendor and brand information, including product details, specifications, and pricing. Utilize this knowledge to make informed decisions.
- Engage with customers, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive shopping experience.
- Confidently sell and communicate the value of our products, representing brand standards with professionalism.
- Assist customers with product selections, offering styling advice and design recommendations, order memos for customers.
- Maintain showroom appearance at all times by styling products, creating attractive vignettes, and cleaning.
- Operate POS systems and vendor platforms efficiently.
- Handle inventory management tasks, including lifting items up to 25 lbs and working on short ladders.
- Support with various showroom duties as needed to ensure smooth operations.
- Forecast and curate digital libraries to assist with social media stories to showcase new products/arrivals, and keep customers engaged.
Experience:
- At least 3 years of high end retail sales experience.
- Experience in home decor/interior design sales is a bonus but not required.
Qualifications:
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Confidence in selling and representing the brand.
- Effective communication skills.
- Knowledge and experience in styling products and creating vignettes.
- Ability to lift 25 lbs with ease.
- Comfortable working on short ladders.
- Proficient in operating POS systems (Square), Canva, and Social Media.
