What are the responsibilities and job description for the Facility Project Coordinator position at Old Souls Farm?
Job Title: Facility Project Coordinator
A Project Coordinator is always prepared for a new issue to be solved. These issues can range from a 5-minute solution to months at a time. It’s also, important to know that you will have multiple projects happening at one time. Being able to balance multiple current projects and assist with clarification or improvements on previous projects is imperative. This position also requires you to coordinate with all departments here at Old Souls Farm.
Job Summary:
You will receive direction on a project or an issue from your manager and you are expected to use your resources to solve the issue. Once a project is complete it will then be decided who will manage the project. This can range from an entire department to one specific person, or you continue to manage the project yourself. The key is no matter who this project gets handed off to, you are still the expert and must be willing to assist when necessary. This is a high paced and demanding job; you will be frequently walking around the facility on a day-to-day basis.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure once a project is given to you have a clear understanding of the issue and what needs solved.
There may be more than the initial problem that needs to be solved.
You must be able to articulate your solution to enact it.
Solve the project in a timely manner.
Most of the time you will be working on a project alone, but in communication with other departments depending on the issue.
Must be able to use Excel, Word, email, phone calls and text messages.
Manage Deadlines on projects.
Must be well organized.
There are times when you will have to adjust your schedule and work on a project outside your regular hours.
Be able to train personnel in new projects as well as certify them on an Aerial lift and Forklift. (training will be provided by Old Souls Farm)
Must be able to operate an Aerial lift and forklift (onsite training will be provided)

Working Conditions:
This job, on occasion requires you to move heavy items weighing 50-75lbs depending on the project.
This is a food facility and all Old Souls Farms GMP’s must be always followed, or you will be terminated.
Onsite most of our facility is climate controlled, this includes freezers that you may need to go into. (Proper PPE will be provided to you)
This facility has multiple different allergens including Tree nuts, peanuts, soy, and dairy that you may encounter.
