Duties
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Present menus and provide detailed information about food and beverage offerings.
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently using the Aloha POS system.
- Assist with food preparation as needed, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining an attentive presence at the table.
- Handle cash transactions with precision, including cash register operations and cash handling procedures.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any special requests or dietary restrictions.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations.
- Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly to enhance their dining experience.
Skills
- Previous experience in a restaurant setting preferred, but will train.
- Proficiency in food preparation techniques is an asset.
- Familiarity with POS systems.
- Strong cash handling skills with attention to detail in transactions.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with guests and team members.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high service standards.
