Dishwasher/Busser

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Dishwasher/Busser to join our team in a fast-paced hospitality environment. This role is crucial in maintaining the cleanliness and efficiency of our kitchen and dining areas, ensuring that our guests have an exceptional dining experience. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a passion for the hospitality industry.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dishwashing area and kitchen.
• Assist with bussing tables by clearing away dirty dishes and resetting tables for new guests.
• Support the kitchen staff by ensuring that all necessary utensils and equipment are clean and readily available.
• Help with food handling tasks as needed, including assisting in food preparation under the direction of cooks or chefs.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations regarding food handling and sanitation practices.
• Participate in catering events or banquets as required, providing support to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a restaurant or hotel setting is preferred but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with kitchen operations, including food handling practices and sanitation standards.
• Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail to ensure cleanliness and orderliness.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• A passion for hospitality and commitment to providing excellent service to guests.
