This position is responsible for the cleaning, maintenance, and repair of all facility areas while upholding a safe and welcoming environment for everyone. All tasks will be performed in alignment with the mission and goals of Old Town Hot Springs.

– Option 1: Monday – Friday | 5:00 AM – 1:00 PM (Full-Time)
– Option 2: Saturday – Sunday | 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM (Part-Time)
– Option 3: Tuesday – Saturday | 1:00 PM – 9:00 PM (Full-Time)
Essential Job Functions
- Facility Maintenance & Safety
- Perform tasks to maintain the safety, cleanliness, and functionality of the facility.
- Work under the direction of the Facilities Manager and Associate Facilities Director.
- Provide guidance to other team members during shift transitions.
- Monitor and maintain inventory of supplies and equipment.
- Perform minor repairs and preventative maintenance on facility equipment.
- Coordinate with vendors and service companies for repairs and upkeep.
- Ensure a systematic approach to maintenance for efficiency.
- Respond to member and guest inquiries professionally and positively.
- Maintain a professional appearance appropriate for the position.
- Obtain and maintain Medic First Aid, CPR, and CPO or AFO certification.
Pool Maintenance
- Maintain pool mechanical systems and ensure proper function.
- Handle and apply pool chemicals safely, maintaining compliance with regulations.
- Monitor and adjust water chemistry; maintain accurate pool logs.
- Inspect and repair water slides and pool-related equipment.
- Operate pool vacuums and maintain cleanliness of pools, decks, and surrounding areas.
Grounds & Facility Upkeep
- Perform basic carpentry, painting, landscaping, and snow removal as needed.
- Assist with special events setup and teardown.
- Respond to emergency situations efficiently and effectively.
Position Requirements
- Situational awareness with a strong focus on safe working practices.
- Self-motivated with problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot effectively.
- Maintain a calm and helpful attitude while interacting with members, guests, and team members.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to complete tasks thoroughly.
- Ability to lift up to 60 lbs. and remain on feet for 6 hours per shift.
- Availability to respond to emergencies promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of all facility areas.
- Represent Old Town Hot Springs in a courteous and professional manner at all times.
