Old Town Insurance Group (OTIG) is an independent agency in South King County, servicing multiple states, providing insurance policies and services to personal lines (auto, home) and commercial consumers.

OTIG is seeking a driven, highly motivated Account Executive/Sales Producer to help us continue to grow our business. You will sell and service our insurance plans to meet the needs of our prospects and clients, while building on our strong relationships with our referral partners to ensure the growth and longevity of the agency.

Prior brokerage or insurance experience preferred but not required.

Account Executives/Sales Producers excel at:

  • Identifying and qualifying sales leads generated by the agency through the internet, direct mail, networking and the existing book of business.
  • Explaining and presenting insurance products to existing and prospective clients that meet their individual needs.
  • Persistently following up with leads and prospects.
  • Having excellent written and verbal communication skills to proficiently communicate through email and over the phone.
  • Having a strong working knowledge of personal computers and related MS Office suite of products, including Outlook.
  • Focusing on the customer and having the ability to adapt/respond to different types of personalities.
  • Multi-tasking! Our agency is busy and has multiple systems/platforms. The ability to switch gears, as a situation presents the need, is paramount!
  • Setting goals and action plans to attain them.
  • Exceeding customer, agency and their own expectations.

Compensation

  • This is a base salary commissions, bonuses and promotions. Salary DOE.

Responsibilities

  • Working the abundant leads provided by OTIG through a variety of mediums to grow the agency and your own revenue while ensuring the customer receives the correct coverage at affordable premiums.
  • Build sustainable relationships and trust with clients by delivering on our carrier and agency commitments to provide industry leading products and services.
  • Compliance with carrier, state and agency rules and regulations.
  • Handle customer concerns, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits; follow up to ensure resolution.
  • Document customer interactions and service accounts by having a customer centric focus.
  • Follow communication procedures, guidelines and policies.
  • Continue to foster relationships with existing clients, carriers and our network of referral partners.
  • Be driven and coachable, strive for success!
