Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Pest Control Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and managing pest issues in residential and commercial properties. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of pest control methods, open to continually learn while on the job, have experience with various tools, and demonstrate excellent customer service skills. Your ability to drive results while ensuring customer satisfaction will be key to your success in this position.
What You’ll Do:
- Conduct thorough inspections of properties to identify pest infestations and potential entry points.
- Develop and implement effective pest management plans tailored to individual client needs.
- Utilize power tools and hand tools safely and effectively during pest control operations.
- Apply pesticides and other treatments in accordance with product labels, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Maintain accurate records of services performed, including products used and treatment outcomes.
- Provide clients with education on pest prevention strategies and recommend additional services as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Drive company vehicles to various job sites while adhering to all traffic laws.
- Attend regularly scheduled team meetings and company trainings.
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous experience in pest control or a related field is preferred but not required. (No pest control experience? No problem, we provide full training!)
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Problem solver who enjoys troubleshooting and thinking critically
- Self-starter with the ability to manage their schedule effectively
- Customer service mindset—friendly, professional, and great at communication.
- Comfortable with physical work (walking, kneeling, carrying up to 50 lbs)
- Familiarity with power tools, hand tools, and lawn care equipment is advantageous.
- Strong to effectively communicate service offerings to clients.
- Ability to work independently while also collaborating with a supportive team.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Willingness to learn about pest control methods and safety protocols.
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members.
- 21 with a Valid driver's license with a clean driving record for insurance purposes.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug test (required).
