Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of baked goods, including measuring ingredients, mixing dough, and shaping products.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bakery area, ensuring compliance with food safety standards.
- Help with inventory management by restocking supplies and monitoring product freshness.
- Operate bakery equipment safely and efficiently while adhering to all safety protocols.
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with their selections and answering any questions they may have.
- Support the team during busy periods by efficiently managing time and prioritizing tasks.
- Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and cooperation.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food preparation or food service is preferred, particularly in a bakery or café setting.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations.
- Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
