Job Description
The Maintenance Supervisor will oversee the daily activities of maintenance workers to ensure continuous plant operation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct electrical, electronic, mechanical hydraulic and pneumatic maintenance and repair of machinery and equipment.
- Assist in diagnosing malfunctions in equipment and machinery.
- Monitor mechanical devices and equipment for proper functioning or identify causes of trouble.
- Interpret company policies and safety regulations to maintain a safe work environment.
- Recommend and implement measures to improve production methods, equipment performance and product quality.
- Plan and schedule routine and preventative maintenance procedures and assign personnel.
- Order parts needed for special projects and routine maintenance requirements.
Requirements:
- 5 years of experience as a maintenance manager or equivalent combination of experience, training, and education.
- Able to maintain and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and electronic control equipment used in an industrial manufacturing environment.
- Able to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, process sheets, and assembly schematic drawings.
