The Quality Coordinator is responsible for all aspects of ensuring quality in products at the plant-level, including, but not limited to formulation oversight and testing; incoming raw material inspection, testing, and approval; ensuring that all established specifications and processes are followed.

**Job Summary**
The Quality Coordinator is responsible for all aspects of ensuring quality in products at the plant-level, including, but not limited to formulation oversight and testing; incoming raw material inspection, testing, and approval; ensuring that all established specifications and processes are followed.
**Job Responsibilities**
- Oversight and testing of product formulations
- Inspection, testing, and approval of incoming raw materials
- Follow all established specifications and processes
- Investigate and resolve Customer quality complaints
- Prepare and submit all required reports to Oldcastle or applicable agency
- Provide/produce and prepare samples for sales as needed
- Work with Regional Quality Manager and Site Manager to ensure all information is documented daily and correctly
- Complete hourly Required Volume checks on All production lines on the retail side of the business assuring better control on fill rates to minimize excess bag weight
- Assuring the quality of the material is acceptable i.e. color, size and shape
- Retaining and recording all text samples for premium and pulling required preen samples
- Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned as needed
- Experience with lab and testing procedures preferred
- Some experience working in a manufacturing environment preferred
- Some mechanical aptitude or experience with production processing equipment preferred
- Must be detail-oriented
- High school degree required; Associates Degree preferred
- Lift objects weighing up to 50 pounds each
- Endure intermittent bending, crouching, pushing, pulling, stooping and reaching
- Standing for extended period of time
