What You’ll Get to Do
The Maintenance Technician – Day Shift is focused on electrical and mechanical plant maintenance including the repair and installation of machinery and equipment as assigned and reports to the Maintenance Manager.
This role is perfect for an individual who can troubleshoot, inspect and repair machines and equipment. A vital member of the Maintenance Department, this is an opportunity to build a career with an industry leader.
Job responsibilities include:
- Troubleshoot to determine appropriate repairs including the replacement of defective parts
- Assist with the completion of all required preventative and routine maintenance of equipment and machinery
- Assist in upgrading equipment including fabrication of parts
- Maintain a documented record of all repairs and materials
What We Are Looking For
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Maintenance Technician or similar role in an Industrial environment.
- Industrial electrical experience required
- Experience operating grinders; drill press; saws; lathes; milling machines; misc. machines; alter and repair fixtures and tools; sharpening tools
- Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to diagnose and repair electric, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment
