What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pet Reservations Call Center position at Olde Towne Pet Resort?
Olde Towne Pet Resort is a pet’s home away from home. Reservations Agents are the first step in welcoming them into our family.
We are looking for patient, stable, and detail-oriented customer service superstars that genuinely love pets and working in a collaborative team environment. Our Agents are required to have strong computer skills, basic mathematical knowledge, as well as multi-tasking and problem solving capabilities. Agents interact constantly with via phone, email, and messaging. They should have a passion to anticipate our guests’ needs and exceed their expectations, Agents must be agreeable and sympathetic listeners that get along well with others and enjoy providing support and help
Responsibilities:
- Enter client information, book reservations, and process transactions via telephone and email.
- Be able to work with booking software as well as outlook, excel and word.
- Working with other departments to ensure our clients and their pet’s needs are met.
- Maintain full knowledge of accommodations and services that can change frequently.
- Perform various administrative tasks and other duties as assigned by a manager
- Ability to work independently and as an integral part of a team.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong computer skills
- Strong typing skills
- Strong telephone communication skills
- Able to accommodate a flexible schedule, especially weekends and around holidays
- Multi-tasking and time management
- This is a call center position that requires sedentary work
Working Hours:
Res Agents must be available to work a flexible schedule of 5 shifts a week. Weekend availability is a must. Shifts may be scheduled at any time between 6:15 AM and 7:15 PM.
