Overview
Olde World Coffee & Gelato is a brand-new coffee & gelato shop opening this spring, located in the heart of Connellsville just off the GAP bike trail. We are seeking experienced baristas as well as individuals without experience who are enthusiastic about being trained to serve high-quality coffee, espresso drinks, and delicious gelato to locals and outdoor enthusiasts.
We are seeking energentic and positive individuals that will be a great fit for the team. Our atmosphere is upbeat and cheerful and we want this vibe to carry through our staff to our customers. As a Barista, you will create a welcoming environment for our customers while preparing high-quality beverages and providing exceptional service. Your expertise in coffee and gelato will ensure that every customer has a delightful experience.
We have several days and shift options available. Open Daily. Hours available are 6:30 am - 4:00 pm. Extended Summer hours are 6:30 am - 8 pm

Responsibilities/Qualifications
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, gelato, & baked goods according to established recipes and customer preferences.
- Previous barista experience is preferred but not required.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization, ensuring all equipment is properly cleaned and maintained.
- Adhere to food safety guidelines, protocols, and regulations, ensuring all products are handled safely and hygienically.
- Engage with customers to assist with menu selection based on their preferences to enhance their overall experience, promoting sales through exceptional service.
- Math skills, ability to appropriately handle cash, and use POS system.
- Monitor inventory levels of food and beverage supplies, reporting any shortages to management.
- Positive collaboration with team members to create a positive work environment, assisting each other during peak hours.
