Job Overview
To actively participate in the organization and execution of events at Dallas International University. This role demands a reliable and energetic individual who can effectively support event-related activities and logistics.
Responsibilities ii
- Collaborate with the Events team and the Events Team Leader or VPO to plan and execute university events.
- Travel to and from various event locations, ensuring timely and efficient setup and breakdown.
- Handle event materials, equipment, and supplies, including lifting and transporting items weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Engage with participants and represent the university positively at events.
- Assist in managing event logistics and addressing any on-site requirements.
- Maintain updated records, plans, and communication on DIU’s project management software.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by the Director of Marketing.

- Must have reliable transportation for traveling to event locations.

Communication
- Meet with the Events team regularly as scheduled.
- Interface using project management software and email.
- Maintain professional correspondence with volunteers and participants in DIU events as needed.
Hours
Part-time position, approximately 3-10 hours per week, depending on the annual event calendar. Exact hours to be determined in communication with supervisor. Compensation time is allowed especially during an event season.

Physical ability to lift and carry items up to 50 lbs.
