PAY RANGE:
- ASW/APCC/AMFT: $71,760.00- $73,337.60 annually
- LCSW/LMFT/LPCC: $81,473.30 - $99,590.40 annually

Established in 2023, CommuniCare OLE is the result of a union of two health centers with deep roots in their respective communities and reputations for providing high-quality primary care to all, regardless of insurance or ability to pay: OLE Health of Napa and Solano Counties and CommuniCare Health Centers of Yolo County. JOB SUMMARY: The Behavioral Health Clinician reports directly to the Behavioral Health Manager, Adult SUD Programs and provides screening/assessment and enrollment into the Substance Use Disorder Treatment programs.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING
- ASW/LCSW, AMFT/LMFT, APCC/LPCC required. Must be in good standing with the Board of Behavioral Science
- 2 years minimum working in the behavioral health/drug treatment program.
- Bilingual preferred; English/Spanish
- Must be able to pass Yolo County background check.
KNOWLEDGE OF WORK
1. | Understanding and use of DSM 5 in particular Substance Use Disorders |
2. | Completes ASAM screening, progress notes, assessments, and QA audits in a timely manner and according to Drug Medi-Cal guidelines. |
3. | Provides information to clients including treatment alternatives and referral service. |
4. | In depth knowledge of Yolo County SUD Systems of Care and CCHC Programs, ASAM level of care and MAT services. |
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. | Conducts screening and intake assessments for SUD clients. Completes all client information and documentation in a timely manner according to guidelines, including required departmental pre/post screening and data collection tools (e.g. PHQ9, legal involvement, child welfare involvement, tribal affiliation). |
2. | Provides triage, crisis response, and support services to clients experiencing SUD complications and/or mental health symptoms and collaborates effectively with SUD Program staff regarding care coordination. |
3. | Works with clients to engage in SUD services both within and outside of CCHC. Will provide individual and group counseling. Counselor is responsible for detecting emotional, psychological, and physical risk factors and danger signals. Counselor is non-judgmental and offers feedback and support to clients. |
4. | Will manage a caseload of 12-15 clients. |
5. | Responsible for remaining within the ethical standards established in the field, including those of confidentiality. |
6. | Responsible for explaining and enforcing all rules and regulations associated with clinic treatment policy. |
7. | Attend clinical supervision and weekly staff meetings. Attend training/conferences as arranged. |
8. | Responsible for maintaining the standards as listed in the CommuniCare OLE Policies and Procedures, and any other standards which may apply to this position. |
10. | Responsible for working with CPS, Probation, and other agencies to accept referrals for SUD Treatment |
12. | Responsible for coordinating with Administrative staff for client enrollment. |
13. | Responsible for maintaining current license/registration in good standing, submit all training certifications and CEUs to Human Resources, must attend ASAM Training 1x per year. |
14. | Other projects as may be assigned. |
