Salary Range : $25.68 to $31.39 hourly

JOB SUMMARY : The Dental Assistant works with the dental program team and reports to the Dental Program Administrator and Dental Director.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING
A board-approved course in the Dental Practice Act.
KNOWLEDGE OF WORK
Perform all duties of a Dental Assistant according to Department of Consumer Affairs, Dental Board of CA and Regulations-Chapter 3, Article 5, Title 16, Division 10, Chapter 3, Article 5, Section 1085.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist dentist with four-handed dentistry as needed.
Take necessary x-rays (only after completion of certification).
Sterilize instruments and clean operatories.
Assist with pediatric patients.
Provide preventative dental education to patients as needed.
