Level 1 CAD Operator

Overview: A Level 1 CAD Operator is an entry-level position responsible for creating and modifying technical drawings using computer-aided design (CAD) software. This role supports engineers, architects, and other professionals by converting conceptual designs into precise and detailed schematics.
Key Responsibilities:
• Use CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD) to create detailed 2D and 3D drawings.
• Assist in the preparation of technical drawings and plans based on specifications from project leaders.
• Revise and update existing drawings to reflect changes and improvements.
• Ensure all drawings comply with industry standards and company guidelines.
• Maintain accurate records and manage drawing archives.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure the accuracy and feasibility of designs.
• Conduct site visits when necessary to understand project requirements better.
Skills and Qualifications:
• Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, etc.).
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to interpret technical specifications and translate them into visual representations.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Basic knowledge of industry standards and regulations.
Education and Experience:
• Typically requires an associate degree in Computer-Aided Design, Engineering Technology, or a related field.
• Certification in CAD software is a plus.
