Ole Mexican Foods is looking for Mechanics to join our company!
Duties / Responsibilities
- Test all aspects of mechanical and electro-mechanical components for automated food production equipment.
- Carry out activities in a workmanlike manner.
- Control, Electric, electronic, and mechanical troubleshooting up to 480VAC.
- Work on machine tools, material handling systems, and industrial production equipment used in food processing.
- Integrate new and improved components into mechanical equipment.
- Preventive and Corrective maintenance as well as inspection activities.
- Identifying areas of weakness in the production line or finished products and making recommendations for improvement.
- Maintain downtimes due equipment failures as low as possible.
- Work order execution.
- Comply with local Food Safety Standards and other standards adopted by the Company.
- Comply with personnel safety regulations and other standards adopted by the Company.
- Keep constant communication with other areas such as production, quality control that led to increase in quality and efficiency of the whole process plant.
REQUIREMENTS FOR A MECHANIC A:
ME-A-I
- Knowledge of Electrical Testing Equipment.
- Knowledge of Metric and Imperial measuring systems and conversions.
- Electric, Mechanical, Pneumatic and Hydraulic schematic reading.
- Knowledge of electrical and electronic machinery parts.
- Knowledge of mechanical machinery parts.
- Knowledge of welding, brazing and Soldering.
- Extensive knowledge of general tools of general use to complete mechanic repairs
- (Wrenches, screwdrivers, and drills, etc.)
- Extensive knowledge of mechanical systems
- Knowledge of machines
- Basic knowledge in welding
- Machine troubleshooting and repairs
ME-A-II
- Knowledge of and circuit electrical equipment
o Charging Voltages: 3 PH 480 VAC, 3 PH 208 VAC, 1 PH 120 VAC.
o Control Voltages: 24 VDC, 0-10 VDC, 0-5 VDC, 4-20 ma., 0-20 ma.
- Extensive knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic circuits and systems. These can generate faults that are very easy to confuse as electrical.
- Extensive knowledge in load and control equipment as:
o Contractors with overload protections
o 5, 8 and 11 pin relays for control
o Solid state relays
o NPN and PNP sensors
- Extensive knowledge in motors and transmissions: The plant has motors from 1/6 HP to 100 HP 3 PH 480 VAC. As well as transmissions of various proportions.
ME-A-III
- Extensive knowledge interpreting electrical diagrams
- Extensive knowledge interpretating drawings and blueprints
ME-A-SR
- Leadership ability supervision
- Major modifications or improvements to equipment and machinery. MEA-SR
- Part designs. MEA-SR
- Machinery designs. MEA-SR
