Warehouse Lead

Role and Responsibilities

• Responsible for the operation of an efficient warehouse
• Support Warehouse Manager in training and leading warehouse workers
• Put away stock into designated locations, following FIFO
• Ensure the delivery of materials to production lines in accordance with production schedules
• Ensure Inventories in area of responsibility are accurate
• Ensure stock movements are recorded accurately
• Work with all operation departments to minimize inventory discrepancies
• Ensure a clean and safe working environment to aid in operational efficiency
• Ensure warehouse equipment is well maintained and fit for use

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Familiary with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
• Attention to detail and high levels of accuracy
• Effective organizational skills
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Ability to maintain confidentiality
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Forklift Certification
• Planning skills with an ability to meet deadlines

Preferred Skills

• Preference will be given to candidates with a working knowledge of NetSuite or similar ERP system
• Excellent communication skills with internal and external customers, verbal and written
• Takes initiative
• Ability to be flexible when needed
• Sound work ethic
• General knowledge of production processes

Physical Demands and Work Environment

• Frequently required to reach with hands and arm, while talking and listening to others
• Required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl
• May lift and move up to 50 pounds
• Specific abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
