Job Summary:
The Area Director will oversee and drive operational excellence across multiple Ole Times Buffets locations in Florida, Georgia, and Alabama. This leadership role involves managing restaurant operations, optimizing financial performance, ensuring exceptional customer service, and fostering a positive work environment. The Area Director will collaborate with local management teams to implement company strategies, uphold brand standards, and achieve growth targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Management:
- Ensure consistent adherence to Ole Times Buffets’ operational standards and procedures.
- Conduct regular site visits to assess performance, identify areas for improvement, and support restaurant managers.
- Oversee daily operations to ensure high-quality food service, cleanliness, and adherence to safety and health regulations.
- Financial Performance:
- Monitor and analyze financial performance of each location, including sales, labor costs, and profitability.
- Develop and implement strategies to drive sales, reduce costs, and improve financial performance.
- Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports for the region.
- Staff Leadership:
- Recruit, train, and develop restaurant managers and key staff members.
- Provide leadership and support to restaurant teams, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Conduct performance evaluations, set goals, and provide feedback to improve team performance and engagement.
- Customer Experience:
- Ensure exceptional customer service and resolve any issues or complaints in a timely and effective manner.
- Implement and monitor customer satisfaction initiatives and programs.
- Drive improvements based on customer feedback and industry trends.
- Compliance and Safety:
- Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, and legal requirements.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure adherence to health, safety, and sanitation standards.
- Address any compliance issues promptly and effectively.
- Strategic Planning and Execution:
- Develop and execute strategies to enhance brand presence and achieve business goals.
- Collaborate with senior management to align regional goals with company objectives.
- Identify and pursue opportunities for growth and market expansion within the region.
- Communication and Reporting:
- Maintain effective communication with the senior leadership team and provide regular updates on regional performance.
- Prepare and present reports on operational and financial metrics, as well as key initiatives and projects.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in restaurant management, with at least 2 years in a multi-unit management role.
- Strong understanding of restaurant operations, financial management, and customer service principles.
- Proven track record of driving sales growth, improving operational efficiency, and managing budgets.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to travel frequently between locations within the region.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with restaurant management software.
