What are the responsibilities and job description for the Facility Attendant position at OLE TYME PRODUCE INC?
Responsible to follow all company established SSOPs to maintain adequate sanitation as a cornerstone for safe storage and handling for food and non-food products. Report any non-conformance(s) and deviation(s) from the SQF food safety system requirements to the SQF Practitioner and/or most senior management member
Daily inspection and cleaning of all restroom facilities per SSOP, multiple times if necessary, and work documented
Daily cleaning employee break room and work documented
Coolers, split cooler room, dock pit area, back dock and dry storage cooler cleaned per Master Cleaning Schedule, SSOPs and work documented
Clean warehouse hand sinks daily and work documented
Sweep/scrub warehouse floors and docks with cleaning equipment and manually as needed and work documented
Clean warehouse dispatch and receiving offices per Master Cleaning Schedule, SSOPs and work documented
Daily inspections of trash cans, cleaning as often as necessary, not less than daily and ensuring liners are present
Wipe down and clean cooler racks/walls/ledges and barriers
Inspection of office and warehouse janitor, driver, and laundry closets including sink
Inspection of the dumpster, cardboard recycling and truck wash out dock and surrounding areas daily
Inspections of all material handling equipment including forklifts, electric jacks and hand trucks; cleaning as needed and per Master Cleaning Schedule, SSOPs and work documented
ALLERGEN control is a necessary part of your job
Ensure a high level of housekeeping
Attend all training and maintain current knowledge of all SSOPs, SOPs, PRPs, GWPs, and GMPs related to sanitation and safe food storage and handling
Perform other tasks, jobs, and/or assignments as directed by supervisors and management
