Anticipated Opening- School Psychologist

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations to identify learning, behavioral, and emotional needs.
• Provide individual and group counseling to students experiencing academic, social, or emotional difficulties.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop and implement intervention strategies.
• Assist in the development and monitoring of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and 504 Plans.
• Provide crisis intervention and support for students in need.
• Support behavior management programs and create strategies for positive student behavior.
• Conduct research and data analysis to evaluate student progress and program effectiveness.
• Facilitate professional development for staff on mental health, learning disabilities, and effective classroom interventions.
• Promote a safe and inclusive school environment that supports student success.
• Stay current with best practices and legal requirements in school psychology.
