GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations to identify learning, behavioral, and emotional needs.
- Provide individual and group counseling to students experiencing academic, social, or emotional difficulties.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop and implement intervention strategies.
- Assist in the development and monitoring of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and 504 Plans.
- Provide crisis intervention and support for students in need.
- Support behavior management programs and create strategies for positive student behavior.
- Conduct research and data analysis to evaluate student progress and program effectiveness.
- Facilitate professional development for staff on mental health, learning disabilities, and effective classroom interventions.
- Promote a safe and inclusive school environment that supports student success.
- Stay current with best practices and legal requirements in school psychology.
