Accounts Receivable Specialist (Commercial Property)
Olen is seeking a full-time, skilled Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our Corporate Accounting team, focused on our commercial properties. This individual will be specifically responsible for posting rent payments, move ins, renewals, move outs, and monthly reports. This position reports to the Accounting Manager and is located in the corporate office in Newport Beach, CA.
Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities:
Record Tenant checks per bank deposit reports. Input cash batches, balance, post cash receipts including any NSFs.
Processing of Leases, import new leases and process move out leases.
Invoice monthly rents and late fees.
Prepare letters to tenants for CPI, scheduled rent increases and MTM charges.
Assist with reconciling, updating and archiving monthly rent roll.
Assist with Updating daily journal entries for AR (CM to GL).
Assist with closing month end, including the running of month end reports and archive.
Assist Commercial Accounting Manager with special projects.
Common Area Billings.
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
Minimum of three to six months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
Key Competencies/Skills:
Have experience in bank deposits and posting payment to client accounts.
Have general knowledge of accounting general ledger and reviewing income statements.
Working knowledge of Office 365 including Microsoft Office Excel, Word, Outlook and SharePoint or a willingness to learn.
Demonstrates initiative, professionalism, integrity, and exercises confidentiality of all areas of performance.
Good verbal and written communication skills Strong data entry and multi-tasking skills
Strong work ethic and team player attitude
Good customer service skills

Compensation: $30.00 - $36.00 per hour
