About the Job
We are seeking a skilled Psychiatric Medical Director to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading our multidisciplinary team and overseeing clinical services on our 16 bed acute inpatient unit.
The ideal candidate will have at least two years of post-graduate practice experience in the treatment of the mentally ill, with an administrative or supervisory component. A strong background in psychopharmacology, group therapy, cognitive behavioral psychotherapy, family interventions, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy is also essential.
Responsibilities
- Lead a multidisciplinary team
- Oversee clinical services on the 16 bed acute inpatient unit
- Participate in center-wide committees and clinical reviews
- Potentially involved in crisis services and day hospital services
