Key Responsibilities
- Deliver treatment for substance abuse and concurrent psychiatric disorders.
- Conduct diagnostic medication evaluations and manage medication regimens.
- Collaborate effectively with therapists, primary care providers, and OBAT Nurses and Coordinators in patient care.
- Manage medication refills for existing patients and provide assistance during bridge visits for those awaiting intake.
- Support Primary Care and the OBAT team in urgent psychiatric situations.
- Oversee discharge visits from referring facilities.
- Engage in regular supervisory sessions with the Psychiatrist, adhering to PMHNP requirements.
- Participate in diagnostic formulations and contribute to the development of comprehensive treatment plans.
- Take a leadership role in case conferences and participate in staff training.
- Strong assessment and diagnostic abilities.
- Proficient in medication management techniques.
- Excellent collaboration skills within multidisciplinary teams.
- Experience in behavioral health and addiction treatment.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Leadership aptitude in training and development.
- Current licensure as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner.
