Job Description
Experienced NP/PA to join the Adult Medicine Division at a Community Health Center in Bristol County that is committed to providing high quality, integrated care for all patients regardless of their ability to pay
The Department of Adult Medicine’s goal is to ensure the health and well-being of all patients through prevention, screenings and early detection.
The department’s primary healthcare includes treatment of common adult medical problems such as: Allergies; Arthritis; Blood disease; Cancer; Diabetes; Digestive diseases; Heart disease; Hormonal disorders; Infections; Kidney diseases and Respiratory disorders.
The provider will conduct individual patient health history, physical assessments and screenings to include various diagnostic testing as needed. Interpret the results and provide feedback to patient and/or designated family member(s)
Develop, implement and evaluate treatment plans. Prescribe/perform various treatment modalities - including, but not limited to: medications, injections, wellness counseling, suturing, and ancillary testing. Consult and collaborate with a variety of health care professionals and make referrals as necessary.
Candidates will have prior practice experience, Current Massachusetts Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant License, DEA and Massachusetts Controlled Substance Registration, Board Certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant and Current CPR/BLS Certification
