An employed multispecialty physician group practice that is part of a financially strong and stable health system, and teaching affiliate of Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons is currently seeking a part or full time BE|BC Internist to join an Outpatient Internal Medicine practice 30- 40 minutes from New York.
Join 4 seasoned physicians and a supportive medical staff who share an approach to innovative practice models with telephone call shared on an equitable basis and Saturday morning office hours covered by physicians on a rotating basis.
The Primary Care physician takes appropriate medical history, conducts physical exams, orders and interprets appropriate tests. Formulates differential diagnosis and treatment plans according to accepted standards, prescribes medications, refers to medical and|or surgical specialists for consultation as appropriate and follows up on results.
