Job Description
Large Healthcare Group is seeking an experienced Behavioral Health/Psychiatry APRN to join a multidisciplinary team of specialists for a full-time position in an acute care general hospital's inpatient behavioral health adult and adolescent unit.
The APRN may also conduct medical floor psychiatric consultations and emergency department crisis evaluations under the supervision of the attending physician.
The Inpatient PMHNP will participate in the treatment/coverage of ten patients daily within the inpatient unit.
Duties include, but are not limited to, conducting admission histories and exams, daily rounding on service patients as well as providing consultation services to the emergency department and medical/surgical floors
