Associate Medical Director of Behavioral Health - Missouri
The Associate Medical Director participates in Departmental leadership meetings with the Chief Medical Officer and Vice President of Physician & Medical Services. Participates in the development and recommendation of all medical policies. Participate in all hiring of physicians and nurse practitioners for Region with the Chief Medical Officer and Vice President of Physician & Medical Services. Participate in Administration meetings. Co-lead physician / nurse practitioners staff meetings in Region. Participate in nursing meetings as needed. Participate in any personnel issues with medical staff in coordination with the Chief Medical Officer and Vice President of Physician & Medical Services. Conducts medication reviews and chart audits, as necessary. Lead Regional peer review process. Most meetings can be attended using video and / or phone conferencing, however some meetings may require travel to other site locations.
