The Donation Attendant plays a crucial role in supporting our mission by assisting with the collection and processing of donations. Responsibilities
- Greet donors warmly and thank them for their contributions.
- Assist in unloading, sorting, and organizing donated items.
- Ensure that all donations are processed efficiently and stored properly.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the donation area.
- Provide information to donors about the organization’s mission and programs.
- Handle any inquiries or concerns from donors in a professional manner.
- Collaborate with team members to improve donation processes and enhance donor experience.
Skills
- Knowledge of medical terminology to assist in understanding donor needs.
- Familiarity with urgent care practices and internal medicine principles is beneficial.
- Strong patient service skills to ensure a positive interaction with donors.
- Ability to provide medical administrative support when necessary.
- Understanding of physiology knowledge related to health-related donations.
- Experience in clinic or hospital medicine environments is a plus.
