What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Assurance Associate Plasma Center position at Olgam Life?
Under supervision of the Quality Assurance Manager, in compliance with the Olgam Life Quality Manual ensure center compliance to the Olgam Life Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), current state and federal regulations.
Duties and responsibilities:
· Maintain certification and annual re-certification requirements of the Olgam Life training program.
· Perform internal audits on donor records, employee performance and center calibration documents as required.
· Monitor deviations by tracking and trending errors and in conjunction with the management team address areas of non-compliance by creating correct action plan.
· Perform review of donor record files, log books to ensure accuracy and completeness.
· Review plasma shipment for conformance to SOP and customer requirements and release material.
· Inspect supplies and materials for compliance prior to release for use.
· Review and assist in equipment maintenance, calibrations and validations for accuracy and completeness.
· Ensure facility cleanliness.
· Assure CLIA compliance by reviewing proficiency and reagent testing logs.
· Review records daily, weekly, monthly and submit timely reports as required by the corporate QA.
· Ensure most current SOP’s, QM, OSHA, CLIA etc manuals and forms are in the center and consistently followed.
· Ensure concurrent, legible and accurate documentation.
· Perform other Quality Associate duties as defined in the Olgam Life Quality Manual.
Educational Requirements:
· High school diploma or equivalent, college education preferred.
· Must have at least 2 years of Quality Assurance experience.
· At least 1 year of plasma experience preferred, however not required.
· Strong communication, interpersonal, analytical, troubleshooting and problem- solving skills
· Strong documentation skills
· Teamwork and Collaboration
Physical Requirements:
· Manual dexterity
· Ability to stand for long periods of time.
· Able to pull and lift up to 50 pounds.
· Able to spend short periods of time in plasma freezers colder than -30°C.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
