Deputy Operations Manager
Overview :
The Deputy Operations (Ops) Manager will work in a dynamic, multi-disciplinary environment supporting scientific and engineering personnel on a laboratory facility decontamination and decommissioning project.
The individual will work directly with the on-site Operations Manager and project management team to oversee and direct resources, interface with the clients, and interact with the on-site support personnel to ensure project milestones are met.
Primary Responsibilities :
- Assisting the Operations Manager with managing scope, schedule, and budget.
- Assisting with on-site and remote resources, including engineering, scientific, and project management disciples.
- Directly interfacing with multiple clients and their representatives.
- Ensuring client satisfaction and working closely with the client's technical team.
- Assisting the Operations Manager with project resources, technical changes and expediting scheduled activities.
- Experience with large facility closure projects
- Experience in Facility Engineering (Mechanical Engineer preferred).
- Experience in biocontainment and laboratory operations is considered an asset.
- Experience with Federal and State regulatory compliance.
