We are seeking a skilled 2D Designer to join our Team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive design support services, including engineering analysis, design development, and generation of design output documents. This role involves working on various electrical and plant design projects, ensuring compliance with national codes and standards.
Key Responsibilities
Electrical Design:
- Equipment layout, grounding, cable tray, conduit, lighting systems, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
- Ensure designs comply with IEC, NEC, NFPA, NEMA, IEEE, and OSHA standards.
Plant Design:
- Mechanical systems including piping, material handling, equipment, and HVAC components.
- Equipment, piping, and HVAC layout based on upper-tier documents.
- Ensure designs comply with ASME B31.3, NFPA 101, ASME N509/510, and B16 standards.
Travel:
- Some travel required to meet with vendors, fabricators, and other engineering organizations.
Required Skills/Qualifications:
- Education: High School Degree required. Formal training beyond High School in Computer Aided Design and Drafting is preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of eight (8) years of experience as a Designer in the specified discipline. Proficiency in 2D Microstation CADD is required.
- Field Work: Ability to walk down systems in the field.

Salary : $95,000 - $105,000
