Role Overview

OLI is seeking a highly technical Director of Process Systems Engineering who embraces cutting-edge technologies such as AI, advanced mathematical algorithms, and disruptive innovations. The director will lead-by-example, simultaneously contributing to the cutting-edge innovations, while also establishing a high-performance culture by mentoring, developing, and integrating our team of process systems engineers. This individual will be responsible for ensuring OLI stays ahead of industry trends by proactively incorporating emerging technologies, AI-driven modeling, and advanced computational methods to strengthen OLI’s competitive position and developing scientifically superior, market-driven solutions that reinforce our trusted, leadership position.

• Lead evaluation, adoption, and implementation of disruptive innovations
  
  

Key Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering with an emphasis on Process Systems Engineering
• Demonstrated accomplishments and leadership identifying, developing, and deploying sophisticated, scientific/engineering software that addresses industry needs and challenges via rigorous mathematical modeling and optimization
• Experience integrating AI for enhancing scientific/engineering computing
• Experience establishing and managing teams to deliver solutions to complex industry challenges
• Demonstrated deep knowledge of OLI's industry segments and their challenges
• Ability to build and elevate the Process Systems Engineering team's technical and collaborative capabilities
• Ability to foster cross-function partnerships across OLI to create the market-driven solutions our customers expect
