Join our winning team as a Sales Account Manager in our Sales team at São Paulo, Brazil. In this role, you will actively participate in all aspects of Sales strategy within the Olin organization and stakeholders.

 

 Sales Account Manager Essential Functions

  • Account Manager for key and medium accounts for CAPV (Caustic Soda), KOH, GCO  in South America.
  • Monthly customer/product volume and price forecast 
  • Interaction with Product/Mkt Manager to establish short term tactics and long-term business strategy·
  • Support CAPV business growth plans and strategy·   
  • Actively works to identify and meet the needs of current and  prospect customers by promoting and selling Olin’s solutions.
  • Uses account planning tools, margin management tools, and electronic technology to develop and share account plans with appropriate stakeholders.
  • Defines annual, value-creating goals consistent with business strategy.
  • Develops and builds relationships with internal and external customers, influencers, and chemical associations
  • Produces appropriate sales forecasts and be able to capitalize on/ compensate for market changes.
  • Recognizes, anticipates, and solves customer problems resulting in business opportunities and revenue growth.
  • Achieves sales goals and objectives in assigned territory as derived by business strategies and marketing plans.
  • Possesses a thorough knowledge of assigned Olin products and targeted applications.
  • Understands and proactively analyzes customer’s product and service needs, industry, and business.
  • Shares business and industry intelligence with Olin counterparts (marketing, research and development, tech service, customer service, etc) to promote increased revenue and value.  

 Sales Account Position requirements

  • Graduation in Business Administration, Engineering.
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong experience in chemical commodity business and sales (specially caustic, KOH, bleach)
  •  Ability to navigate and influence different areas of the organization regionally                                           
  • Experience in negotiating medium scale contracts and managing distribution channels across different product line and countries, ability to construct and deliver Olin´s value proposition. Broad market knowledge in key industry sectors. Comfortable understanding chemical value chains globally and regionally. Financial and Tax understanding in South American environment.
  • Comfortable with dynamic ever-changing business environment, Comfortable making fast paced decisions. International chemical trading and distribution knowledge. 
    • Advanced English is mandatory.
