Activity Coordinator/Gatekeeper Essential Job Functions:
- Acts as focal point for all department maintenance requests to ensure they are value added and align with department goals by approving and prioritizing work requests, verifying scopes & proper details, and coordinating with Zone Maintenance to route, schedule, and complete work in a timely manner.
- Coordinate the timing and scheduling of process equipment shutdown, clearing, and isolation with plant Operations by owning and maintaining the Master Task List. Works with plant personnel to ensure the adequacy of plant Operating Discipline for pre/post-maintenance and Management of Change (MOC) status.
- Manages the active maintenance backlog by prioritizing Plant Maintenance Orders using knowledge of plant condition, budgetary constraints, and department technical staff consultation.
- Communicates the status and schedule of plant maintenance activities with other stakeholders including plant Operations personnel and ensures appropriate resources are allocated to perform tasks and activities. Understands Olin's safety standards and how they relate to the scheduling and execution of plant maintenance by determining the adequacy of plans and procedures for maintenance requests.
- Routinely utilizes SAP to route, monitor, and complete maintenance requests and monitor maintenance cost/spending. Ensures proper Olin accounting principles are followed (e.g. status of work accruals).
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's Degree* preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of related experience; Olin experience preferred
- Demonstrated organization skills and ability to balance multiple priorities
- Excellent interpersonal skills, and ability to navigate difficult conversations with tact
- Experience with Microsoft Excel and SAP preferred
- Willingness to be on-call for maintenance issues and Hurricane Duty
- Must be able to obtain a TWIC (Transportation Worker Identification Credential) and possess a valid US Driver's license
