Focus : Olin Corporation is seeking a Manufacturing Leader , located at the Marine Storage department in Plant A, Freeport, TX. The Manufacturing Leader position has shared responsibility and accountability for the management of plant assets, personnel, and achievement of plant-related business objectives. The role delivers plant based business and administrative leadership to an empowered, highly motivated, and talented organization.
Manufacturing Leader Essential Job Functions :
- Supervises and provides performance evaluation, recognition, and discipline for direct reports.
- Creates an environment that fosters teamwork and develops ownership.
- Ensures Most Effective Technology (MET) and specific Operating Discipline requirements are in place.
- Ensures implementation and ongoing effectiveness of defined plant operating discipline to maintain compliance with all applicable regulatory and company policies, rules, and guidelines.
- Promotes corporate initiatives within the department such as productivity and reliability improvements.
- Ensures the leveraging in and out of learning experience reports and implementation of plant-specific action items as appropriate.
- Participates in shut down and outage planning.
- Participates in meeting Business and Plant goals (EH&S, quality, production, cost).
- Provides a routine field presence to ensure work is being performed safely and effectively.
- Promotes a shared responsibility as a member of the EH&S team in pursuing 0 OSHA recordable injuries, 0 Process Safety incidents, and 0 compliance violations.
- Facilitates, leads and participates in safety, environmental, quality and business interruption investigations as needed.
