What are the responsibilities and job description for the Shift Lead position at Olin?

Title : Shift Lead
Location : St. Gabriel, LA
Schedule : Days / Nights, 12-hour rotating shift
Focus : The Shift Lead is responsible for utilizing process knowledge and operations experience to assist in operational excellence, work process execution, and on-shift technical advising.
Shift Lead Position Responsibilities :
- Ensures that shift safety tailgate meetings occur each shift.
- Ensures that vacation is covered by their team when needed and an on-call person is assigned when team is responsible forcoverage.
- Ensures 100% completion and documentation of Operation tasks each shift, to include completion of MTL's and ensuring end of shift notes arecompleted and disbursed.
- Drives teamwork and self-direction of peers.
- Ensures that the Operation and Maintenance Work Process that affect startup / shutdown are followed.Also makes sure that first starts are ready for Maintenance.
- Shift Lead for turnaround planning and commissioning activities.
