Job Summary :
Oline Construction is seeking an experienced Safety Manager to oversee and enforce safety protocols across all company operations. This role will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing comprehensive safety programs tailored to job-site needs while ensuring compliance with OSHA regulations and other safety standards. The ideal candidate will work closely with on-site management teams, oversee OSHA reporting and company-wide safety training, and drive a proactive approach to risk management across multiple locations.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and implement safety plans customized to specific job sites while ensuring company-wide adherence to safety protocols.
- Oversee and manage safety compliance across multiple states, ensuring all projects meet OSHA, local, and federal regulations.
- Conduct regular safety inspections, risk assessments, and audits to identify hazards and implement corrective actions.
- Coordinate safety requirements with on-site management staff to integrate safety into daily operations.
- Lead company-wide safety training programs, ensuring all employees meet required safety standards and certifications.
- Manage OSHA logs, reporting, and compliance documentation while staying current on regulatory updates.
- Investigate accidents, injuries, and near-miss incidents, ensuring proper reporting and implementation of corrective measures.
- Maintain and update company contingency and recovery plans, ensuring preparedness for emergencies.
- Enforce safety policies with subcontractors, ensuring compliance with disciplinary procedures when necessary.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for regulatory agencies and internal safety audits.
